Here are some pictures of the area where I live
Enjoy!
The Beautiful and often Snow Covered, MOUNT MITCHELL
Elevation:  6,600+ feet!
Its both an Electric and Magnet Vortex, depending on what part of the mountain you're on!  What a view from up there!
I don't resonate as much with the energy on MT Mitchell and prefer Grandfather and Roan or Table Rock/Hawks Bill.
I have felt darn right cranky in certain parts of MT Mitchell.   I like it best at the absolute very top ~ the energy is not as intense and feels cleansing.
The Magical and Magnificent TABLE ROCK ....

TABLE ROCK MOUNTIAN gets its name from the appearance of the top of this Mountain which is table-like in appearance.  I hiked up to the neighboring mountain Hawks Bill once.  You guessed it---that one got it's name from resembling the bill of a hawk!

In this valley  BROWN LIGHTS are often reportedly seen.  Many say these are UFO energy!  (Spaceships? Astral travlers?)  I have yet to be there at night, but some of my friends have and witnessed them.

I don't doubt it at all, since Page Bryant says, in her book THE SPIRITUAL AWAKENING OF THE GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAINS, that Table Rock (electric) and Hawks Bill (magnetic) are beacon vortexes that are connected to ley lines that link them to the sun, moon, stars and other heavenly bodies.

It is like the inhalation and exhalation process of the earth which occurs in these types of neighboring beacon vortexes.
The energy of Table Rock is quite electrical from my point of view and so I agree with Page.  Perhaps the neighboring Hawks Bill balances out the energy giving one a bliss feeling.  There is a feeling of well being combined with  speeded up (electrical) energy there -- pretty close to bliss!  The picture above  is the view we have from the top of the Blue Ridge Parkway and it is absolutely one of my favorite places!
The enchanting GRANDFATHER MOUNTAIN is named because of it's profile!  Look carefully and you will see the profile of the face of an old man with a beard!

Grandfather is DEFINATELY MAGNETIC ENERGY.  One feels total LOVE and PEACE when around GRANDFATHER.  It often makes me want to cry breathless  tears of beauty and love!  I call this mountain "My Grandfather" and I always receive wonderful messages when I'm there.  It's about an hour away from where I live.  (Table and Roan are much nearer)  Someday I am going to move closer to my Grandfather!

Table Rock!

This is also a View I am SO VERY familiar with!
When I look at Table Rock, it feels like HOME!
Please meet my good friend, Table Rock!  :)
I have spent allot of time up here gazing at that exact view above!
The top of the mountain is just covered with rhododendron flowers in Spring!
May I introduce you to my special  friend, Roan Mountain! :)
Roan Mountain is much like Grandfather Mountain *(below), in that it is also a Magnetic Vortex -- feminine/heart energy!  The Appalachian Trail runs right up through the top of this mountain and we often see deer running along the ridge line at sunset.  On full moon nights, if you sit at the top of Roan just at sunset, the setting sun is on the right and the moon on the left.  There is nothing at all above you ~ between you and God.  While you sit atop the mountain in between the sun and  moon, you feel a total part of the heavens!
And there are great trails up here as there are on all these mountains!  This place feels like HOME too!  In fact now that I think about it, as I am posting these pictures, I have never been anywhere else that feels more like my Heavenly Home than right here!  Maybe this IS my Heavenly HOME!  :)

GRANDFATHER MOUNTAIN
My favorite place to hike
and to JUST BE!! is Grandfather
It's totally Magical there!
I am SO happy to introduce you to my grandfather!
My home is right smack dab in the middle of all of these magical, mystical  mountain energy vortexes!
Oh, and please be patient while this page fully loads . . .
Also, THERE ARE PLENTY OF WATERFALLS IN THE
NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS
Oops, before we finish, I almost forgot to tell you that Black Bear are
often glimpsed during a hike
Deer are everywhere, including my back yard!  I feed them apples out of my hand!

Misty Mountains in the distance I live at the foot hill of this mountain
These two neighboring mountains
ABOVE
(Table Rock & Hawks Bill )
are electric and magnetic energy
vortexes
They connect to ley lines that link
them to the sun, moon, stars and other
heavenly bodies.
According to Page Bryant, author of The Spiritual Reawakening of the Great Smoky Mountains, Roan Mountain is a potent magnetic vortex.  Page says, "Roan Mountain has a celestial ley line that extends out from its summit in a wavy-ray-like energy pattern and connects directly to the Moon.  This ley receives lunar energy and the mountain radiates lunar power to a wide area that encompasses a radius of over a hundred miles! Roan Mountain is also a powerful beacon vortex.  The peak is a perfect place to do ceremonies in honor of the Moon and to draw upon her great feminine power."
Grandfather is another exquisite magnetic vortex. In her book Page says," This mountain is said to be over 140 million years old, making it one of the oldest mountains on Earth!  The mountain got its name because of it's profile, which looks like the face of an old man looking skyward."  I have spoken with grandfather and this mountain Spirit is very loving and wise.

( I know that I have made a vision quest to the top of my grandfather while living a Cherokee lifetime. Once while atop Grandfather I felt perfectly content to stay and never leave!)
Below:
Do you see the profile of  the face of grandfather carved into the mountain top.  See him
looking upward toward the heavens?

Views from Atop MT. Mitchell
above the clouds!
Mount Mitchell is the highest peak west of the Mississippi.  Page Bryant says that it is an electromagnetic grid -- I agree.  The energy there is very, very intense.  It is said that many global as well as local  ley lines converge there.  In other words, the beacons of energy from
MT  Mitchell connect with other such energy points all over the globe.  So it's no wonder the energy is so intense there!  Right?    Some say that this intense energy is a vital part of the Earth's immune system.  There is an portion of the mountain which is said to cleanse and process negative energy -- it is called Point Misery.  Many of the locals have interesting stories about this part of the mountain and they advise not to go venturing there.  I take their word for it!
A very powerful and intense
electromagnetic beacon!
Table Mountain (below)  is an Electrical Beacon Vortex.
I always see a golden aura of energy around the top of it.
It's a great place to go if you want to astral travel! :)

Been There ~ Done That!
Even in summer, that water is coooooLD ! Brrrrrrr!!!
THE MISTY, MYSTICAL, MAGICAL MIST!
ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT THE MOUNTAINS!
MIST IN THE MOUNTAINS IS ONE OF THE MOST ENDEARING PARTS OF THIS LAND, BESIDES THE DEAR DEER!
I have a view of the mist like this often ~ it's the BEST part of a rainy day!
Thank YOU Dearest GOD for the mist!
I have visited each of these waterfalls below
(and them some) -- they are ALL my favorites!
Never met a waterfall, I didn't LOVE~!

Bridal Falls - You drive right up to it! :)
Great if you don't feel like a hike! :)

Chimney Rock Waterfall.  You have to hike pretty far to get to it but can see it from the town of Chimney Rock.  The movie Last of the Mohekins was filmed here!  It's absolutely breathtaking!  and so is the whole area.  It's a drive from where I live, but I meet my children there, they live nearer to Chimney Rock than I do.  :)
That's It!  End of the Tour!
I hope you enjoyed seeing where I live.
It was my pleasure to show you around!
As I worked on this page, I felt more and
more grateful to be here
as each moment
passed.
God Bless, Joy

This is a
VERY POPULAR
place with the
children in the
summer, as you
can imagine!
